PRODUCT MANAGER
General Description:
Investigate, define, document, and create Design Specifications for all of our products and enhancements. This position is also responsible for third level support involving customer issues.

Supervisor Responsibilities:
None anticipated at this level.

Essential Duties:
  • Receive enhancement requests and work with customers as well as internal personnel to define them in terms of our products.
  • Prepare Scope Documents including estimates of the level of effort required to implement enhancements.
  • Prepare Design Specifications for customer and internal approval from which programmers can write code.
  • Work with QA Analysts during internal testing of enhancements.
  • Provide Sales Support as needed including demonstrations and sales calls.
  • Provide third level support for customer care as required for more difficult support issues.
  • Assist in the prioritization process for enhancements and product road map.
  • Make significant contributions to the success of projects by applying demonstrated knowledge.
Develop and maintain communications in a cooperative and professional manner with customers, team members and manager by:
  • Communicating openly, honestly and constructively
  • Treating all employees and customers with dignity, respect and courtesy
  • Taking responsibility to resolve concerns and problems (i.e., communication, trust and respect) within the team, department, and with customers

  • Bachelor or Associate Degree
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with business applications (4 years) is essential; construction industry experience helpful but not necessary
  • Broad understanding of web development and relational databases; experience with MS SQL Server preferred, but other relational database experience can be substituted
  • Experience with tools used to generate prototypes or mockups
  • Quick learner, self-starter requiring minimal management
  • Ability to work well in team-oriented environment
  • Adapts well to dynamic environments
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to a fast paced changing environment
  • May require minimal travel
