This page is used to broadcast an email message to subcontractors. The page provides input areas for the user to enter subject and message text. The Email Broadcast link is available under both the Project Mgmt and Master Mgmt sections.

• Project Mgmt

• The email "from" box will be pre-populated with the Project Contact email address from the project detail.

• The list of subcontractors will be the list of "included" subcontractors for the project.

• Master Mgmt

• The email "from" box will be empty

• The list of subcontractors will be the "included" subcontractors from the master list.

The user can select the subcontractors for this message:

• Clicking on the Include All button will select all of the subcontractors on the email broadcast

• Clicking on the Clear All button will remove all of the selected subcontractors from the email broadcast

• Clicking on the Send Message to Selected Subcontractors button will send an email to the subcontractors using the BidConnect e-destination email address for the subcontractor.

To send an email broadcast:

1. Click the Email Broadcast link on the Left Nav Bar. The Email Broadcast page opens.

2. Enter the email Subject and Message.

3. Enter your email address in the From field, so if the subcontractor replies, you will receive the email.

4. To send the email to additional people, enter each person’s email address in the CC field. Separate multiple email addresses with a semi-colon (;).

5. At the bottom of the page, click the check box next to each Subcontractor you want to receive the email (at least one subcontractor must be selected).

6. Click the Send Message to Selected Subcontractors button to send the email.

Email Broadcast Subcontractor List Columns

• Subcontractor Name - This column contains a link to the Company Profile pop-up window for each subcontractor.

• Email Address - The email address the message will be sent to for the subcontractor

• Cost Codes - The cost codes assigned to the associated subcontractor.

• Include/Exclude - Placing a check mark in the check box next to a subcontractor and clicking on the Update button will move the subcontractor from the include/exclude list to the other list.
