Project Mgmt - Architects

This same page appears when you create a new project or when you edit the project. To move through the New Project Wizard, click on the <Previous or Next> buttons. To access other project pages, click on a link on the Left Nav Bar under Project Mgmt.

This page is used to manage the architects for the project. Users may get to this page by. Clicking on the Architects link in the left navigation area under the Project Mgmt section Clicking on the Architects link in the Project Components section of the Project Detail page for the project.

To manage project architects:

To include architects in the list of project architects, click the Include check box next to each architect you want to include that is under the Excluded Architects section.
To exclude architects, click the Exclude check box next to each architect you want to exclude that is under the Included Architects section.
Click the Update button in the top right of the page.
To mark the Project Architects section as Complete, click the Complete? check box in the top right of the page.
Click the Update button. This sets the status of the architects in the Project Components section of the Project Detail page to Complete.

To email (notify) the architect:

On the Project Architects page, click the check box link next to the architect you want to email.
Click the Notify button and the Notify Architects page opens.

This button only appears if the project status is ”In Setup” or ”Pending.”

Enter the email Subject and Message.
Change the From field, if necessary. This field automatically fills in the Project Contact.
To send the email to additional people, enter each person’s email address in the CC field. Separate multiple email addresses with a semi-colon (;).
At the bottom of the page, click the Exclude or Include check box next to each architect you want to exclude from or include in the list of people who will receive the email.
Click the Send Message button to send the email.

Project Architect Columns

Architects - The name of the architect from the BuildPro user record of a user who has been identified as a BidConnect Architect.
Email - This column contains the email address from the user record for the architect.
Include/Exclude - Placing a check mark in the check box next to an architect and clicking on the Update button will move the architect from the include/exclude list to the other list.

This column only appears if the project status is ”In Setup” or ”Pending.”
