Project Mgmt - Takeoff Items

This same page appears when you create a new project or when you edit the project. To move through the New Project Wizard, click on the <Previous or Next> buttons. To access other project pages, click on a link on the Left Nav Bar under Project Mgmt.

 

This screen supports the ability to manage the take-off items for a project. It can be accessed by:

 

To manage take-off items:

  1. Select a Cost Code from the Cost Code filter and the take off items that are mapped to that cost code are displayed.

  2. To include take-off items the project, click the Include check box next to each take-off item you want to include that is under the Excluded Plans section.

  3. To exclude take-off items, click the Exclude check box next to each take-off item you want to exclude that is under the Included Plans section.

  4. Click the Update button in the top right of the page.

  5. To mark the Take-off Items section as Complete, click the Complete? check box in the top right of the page.\

  6. Click the Update button. This sets the status of the take-off items in the Project Components section of the Project Detail page to Complete.

  7. Clicking the Include All button will move all of the take-off items to the Included Take-off Items list.

  8. Clicking the Exclude All button will move all of the take-off items to the Excluded Take-off Items list.

 

To add a take-off item, click on the Add Take-Off Items button.

  1. Enter the take-off Item Number.

  2. Enter the take-off item Description.

  3. Select the UOM (unit of measure) from the drop down list.

  4. Click on the Add Take-Off Item button. The new take-off item appears in the master list of Take-Off Items.

 

To print the list of take-off items, click on the Takeoff Items View Printable link.

 

Take-Off Item Columns
