Bid Analysis - Options by Plan & Elevation
This view is similar to the Base House by Plan & Elevation but only includes option bids. As with the “Base House by Plan & Elevation”, the data is originally displayed summarized by plan & elevation for each option.
A "header" line is inserted for each option
The filters, columns, buttons and other functions are the same as the Base House by Plan & Elevation
Within an option, the user can drill down to cost code and take-off item levels.
Columns
Plan - Plan number and name separated by a blank space
Elv - Elevation
Sq Ft - The square feet for the plan & elevation combination
Mix - The number of units projected for the bidding project
Budget - The budget for the cost code for the plan & elevation
Bidder Columns
Bidder Name - Then name of the bidder
The icon indicated that the bidder has uploaded a "bid support document"
Clicking on the icon will open a popup window to display the lit of support documents uploaded by the supplier.
Clicking on the document name will open the support document in a new window.
The icon indicates that the bidder has submitted a revised bid.
Bid Date - If the bidder column contains a date, the date shown is the date the most recent bid was submitted by that bidder for the cost codes in the bid group.
Clicking on the date will display the Bid History record for that bid.
Bid Amount - The summarized amount of the bids the bidder has submitted for all cost codes for the plan & elevation (see Expanded Views below)
Clicking on the icon next to the "Bid Analysis Worksheet" title will add two additional vendor variance columns (the columns are added to both the default view and the Expanded for Cost Codes views).
$ - This column displays the dollar variance between the subcontractor's summarized bid and the budget.
% - This column displays the percent of variance between the subcontractor's summarized bid and the budget.
Clicking on the icon next to the "Bid Analysis Worksheet" title will hide the tow vendor variance columns.
Expanded Views
Expanded for Cost Codes - Expanded by clicking on the plan/elevation
Can be collapsed by clicking on the next to the plan/elevation.
If a cost code is a take-off cost code, a is displayed so the user can drill down to view the take-off items (see Expanded for Take-off Cost Codes below).
Bid Amount Column
The bid amount for each vendor is the amount entered by the bidder for a "lump sum" cost code or the cumulative amount of the extended bids for take-off cost codes.
Expanded for Take-off Cost Codes - Expanded by clicking on the next to a take-off cost code
Can be collapsed by clicking on the next to a take-off cost code.
Columns are added to show the take-off item, UOM (Unit of Measure), and the Quantity for each item.
Bid Column
The bid column is split into two columns:
Bid Qty - This column shows the bidder's quantity for the take off item.
If the builder did not make quantities editable, the quantity will be the same as the builder quantity.
If the builder made the quantities editable, the column will contain the subcontractor's edited quantity for the take-off item.
Unit Cost - The unit cost entered by the subcontractor.
The amount shown on the cost code line is the value calculated by adding the unit cost times the quantity for each of the take-off items.
