Inspection Assembly

When you assign an inspection room list to a template task, you are indicating that the assigned inspector will perform the inspection when that task is marked complete. For example, the last task in the schedule may be ”r;Exterior Plantons Retention.” So, you would assign a room list to the template that contains all rooms covered in that template. You can also assign optional rooms to the template, which will only appear on the inspector’s room list if that optional room is added to the individual job. When the construction manager completes the chosen task, the final inspection assigned to the job becomes due.

On the Inspection Assembly page:

To assign a room list to a template:

  1. Click the Inspections tab. The Inspections page opens.

  2. Under Final Inspection, click the Inspection Setup button. The Inspection Setup page opens.

  3. Click the Inspection Assembly link. The Inspection Assembly page opens.

  4. Choose a Template Name from the drop-down list. The page shows the master room inventory that you choose from when setting up a final inspection.

When the task is marked completed, the final inspection assigned to the job becomes due.

  2. Click the Save button in the bottom right of the Inspection Assembly page to save your changes.

A final inspection can have a pre- or post-inspection questionnaire. However, you are not required to assign any questionnaires to the inspection.  A questionnaire is generated for the inspection when you assign an inspection sheet to a template. The inspection questions are displayed on the questionnaire depending on the question sequence.

To assign inspection sheets to a template:

  1. Open the Inspection Assembly page.

  2. At the bottom of the page, choose an Inspection Sheet from the Pre-Inspection Questionnaire drop-down list. (Optional)

  3. Choose an Inspection Sheet from the Post-Inspection Questionnaire drop-down list. (Optional)

  4. Click the Save button in the bottom right of the page to save your changes.
