Inspections

Perform Inspection

Final Inspection

Inspections can pass through five different statuses: Due, In Progress, Failed, Re-Inspect, and Complete. First, the inspection becomes Due--this happens when the task to which the inspection is assigned is marked complete. When the user starts but does not finish performing the inspection, it becomes In Progress. Once the user completes the inspection, it can go into Complete status or Failed status. Inspections in which all items have passed become Complete. Inspections in which one or more items have failed become Failed.

Users can view inspections in the different statuses from the Perform Inspection page. The filter shows three choices: ”Due and In Progress,”  ”Failed and Complete,” and ”Re-Inspect.” The ”Failed and Complete” filter shows all passed and failed inspections. Passed inspections show a status of Complete. Failed inspections show a status of Failed.
