Add/Modify Inspection Sheet
The Add Inspection Sheet page allows users to add a new inspection sheet by choosing from the available inspection questions. First, you name the inspection sheet, and then you choose questions for the inspection. Usually, an inspection sheet will contain questions from the same inspection type, because the questions in each question type are related to each other. For example, all the questions in the Framing inspection type should be about Framing. You then enter a sequence number for each question to determine how the questions will be ordered on the inspection.
To add an inspection sheet:
On the Inspections home page, click the Create/Manage Inspection Sheets button. The Inspection Sheet page opens.
Click the Add Inspection Sheet link at the top of the page. The Add Inspection Sheet page opens.
Choose an Inspection Sheet Type from the drop-down list. A default Inspection Sheet Type has been created for you during your implementation phase. .
Enter the Inspection Sheet Name for the new inspection sheet.
Select a value from Approval Type if approval is required for this Inspection Sheet. The default value is 'No Approval Required'. 'Text Signature is selected for Inspection Sheets the require an approver.
Select the Enforce Dual Control checkbox if multiple users may be performing the approval for this Inspection Sheet.
To add Role Based Approvals
Select an Approver Role from the Select Approver Role field
Click the Add Approver button
Your approver will be added at the appropriate approver level.
Select the correct value from the User Role Required field
Click the Inspection Sheet Questions tab
Select an Inspection Question Type.
Click the Select check box next to inspection question you want to include on the new inspection sheet.
Seq (Sequence) value to control the order of questions added to your Inspection Sheet
Label determines what appears next to your question on the Inspection Sheet.
Click the Add New button.
To edit an inspection sheet:
On the Inspections home page, click the Create/Manage Inspection Sheets button. The Inspection Sheet page opens, listing the inspection sheets for the user’s division.
Click on an Inspection Sheet Name. The Modify Inspection Sheet page opens.
Edit the Inspection Sheet Name as necessary.
Click the Update button.
On this page, you can also add or remove questions from the inspection sheet.
To add questions to the inspection sheet, choose an Inspection Question Type from the drop-down list. The page lists all inspection questions for that inspection type as well as the questions already assigned to the inspection sheet.
Click the Select check box next to each question you want to add or remove.
Each question with a checkmark next to it will be assigned to the inspection sheet when you click the Update button.
Enter a Sequence Number for each question you want to add.
Choose another Inspection Type from the drop-down list to add more questions to the inspection sheet. Click the Update button after making your changes.
Always click the Update button before you choose another inspection type or your changes will not be saved.
