Milestone Inspection

From the Perform Inspections page, the user can begin or resume an inspection. This page has a filter to show Due and In Progress inspections and Complete inspections. The default is Due and In Progress. Inspection Statuses also include Pending Approval, Pending Approval - Authorized to Approve and Skipped. A user will only see inspections assigned to him or her. A user with the Inspector Admin role will see all inspections.

This page lists the Inspection, Inspector(s) assigned to the inspection, and a checkbox to print the Inspection Sheet. The print function will generate the Inspection Sheet in PDF format for printing. The inspections are grouped by community and then job.

You can view your due inspections on the Perform Inspection page, from the Inspections box on the Home page, or from the To Do List.

To perform or continue an inspection:

1. Log into BuildPro, and click the Inspections tab. The Inspections home page opens.

2. Click the Perform Inspections button under Milestone. The Perform Inspection page opens, showing all Due and In Progress inspections assigned to you.

3. Click an Inspection link. The Inspection page opens, showing all the questions included in the inspection.

4. Click the Start Inspection button

5. Enter Actual Start Date.

6. Answer each question in the inspection. Each inspection question may have a different question type.

6. Click the Update Inspection button at the bottom of the page to save your changes.

7. If you answer any questions as failed the question may require the user to click the Add Defect button.

8. When you answer all the questions, the status of your inspection changes from In Progress to Complete.
