On the Search Defects page, you can edit unresolved defects, view completed defects, and view the history on a specific defect. Click the "Search Defect" button from the Inspections home page to open the Search Defects page. On this page, you can filter by Community, Job, Task, Trade Partner, Priority, and Defect Status to search for defects. The user Community and Job and filters are required.

To search for defects:

1. On the Inspections home page, click the Search Defects button. The Search Defect page opens.

2. Choose a Community from the drop-down list.

3. Choose a Job from the drop-down list.

4. Choose from any of the other filters. (Optional)

5. Click the Search Defect button. The list of defects that your criteria appears on the page.

6. Use the small scroll bar on the right side of the page to scroll through the list of defects. As you scroll, the column headers remain frozen.

7. Click on an underlined column header to sort the defects by that column.

To view the defect detail:

1. On the Search Defect page, click on a Description link. The Defect Detail page opens.

2. In the bottom left of the page, click the Show Defect History link to view the history of changes made to the defect. Click the Hide Defect History link to hide the history.

3. Make any necessary changes to the Defect Detail.

4. Click the Save Changes button to save your changes. Or, click the Cancel Changes button to return to the Search Defect page without saving your changes.
