Company Inspection Question Fields

These are the fields that the user fills out when adding or modifying a company inspection question.

• Question - A text box will be available for users to enter the company inspection question.

• Question Type - When the admin user creates the question, the user can choose for the question to appear in one of the following formats:

• Yes/No - The question appears on the inspection with two check boxes; one for ’r;Yes’ and one for ’r;No.’ Answering Yes or No can mean a failed item based on what the admin user set as a failure.

• Pick One - The question appears on the inspection as a radio button if there are 4 or less values or a drop-down list if there are more than 4 values. A user may only select one of the choices (values) that appear on the inspection.

• Pick Many - The question appears on the inspection as a series of check boxes, which allows the user to select multiple options.

• Date/Time - The question appears on the inspection as a date/time box and allow users to input a date and time. A date picker appears to assist users in selecting the date. Drop down boxes should be used to select the time.

• Number - The question appears on the inspection as a text field. The input form on the inspection sheet only allows numeric characters, including decimals.

• Text - The question appears on the inspection as a text field. The input form on the inspection sheet allows alpha-numeric characters.

• Sketch Pad/Signature - The question appears on the inspection as an entry field where users, with the correct hardware, may draw or enter a signature.  For the ASP, in order to make this function work, separate hardware is required.

• Inspection Type - Will tie the question to an Inspection Type. This will limit the number of company questions when creating an Inspection Sheet and allow the company to report on Inspection Types.

• Category - Will tie the question to the Division K.B. Category.  The user can select multiple K.B. categories when defining an inspection question.  

• Add Note Box? - If this check box is checked, a note box will appear below the question on the inspection sheet. This allows the inspector to input any applicable notes associated to the question.

• Disable - If this check box is checked, the question is not visible and cannot be added to an Inspection Sheet..
