Storm Water Inspection Management
SWIM > Site Management > Site Detail
In order to perform SWIM inspections you must create a site-level entity which users are assigned. The site will contain general information about the site (site name, permittee, acres to be disturbed,etc.) as well as specific dates related to the construction general permit (CGP) associated with the site. Users who are assigned the SWIM - Site Management role will have access to the Site Management section of SWIM

To Add a Site
On the SWIM home page, click the Site Management button. The Site List page opens.
On the Site List page, click the Add a New Site/Project link. The Add New Site Detail page opens.
The Type drop down will default to -Select Type- Choose Site.
Complete each section of the form with the information pertinent to creating a new Project.
Click the Add button.
To Edit a Site
Click the Site Management button
Drill into the Site Name field
Make all necessary changes.
Click the Update button.
General Information
Type - Select Project from the dropdown. *Required field
Note: Projects can be upgraded to Sites, but Sites cannot be downgraded to Projects.
Name - Enter SWPPP - [insert site name]. Example: SWPPP - Rolling Meadows...*Required field
Note: It is best practice to name sites consistently using the same naming convention across all divisions.
Organization - Choose the SWPPP INSPECTIONS PROGRAM - [division name] from the drop down.
Note: When selecting the Organization from the dropdown, if you do not see the SWPPP INSPECTIONS PROGRAM - [division name] in the drop down, please contact your system administrator to have the organization added.
SWPPP Region - If applicable, enter the SWPPP region the entity is to be affiliated with.
Estimated Acres to be Disturbed - Enter the total number of acres to be disturbed as part of the site.
Wholly Owned Interest - Describes whether your company has whole or partial ownership of the site. Choose Yes/No from the drop down.
Status - Represents the current status of the Project. Dropdown will contain Active, Complete and Cancelled. When creating new project this drop down will default to - Select Status -.
Location
Latitude - Enter the geographic latitude coordinate associated with the site.
Longitude - Enter the geographic longitude coordinate associated with the site.
Address or Nearby Intersection - Enter physical address of the site.
City - Enter the city where the project is located. * Required field
State - Enter the state where the site is located. * Required field
Zip - Enter the postal zip code where the site is located
