Job Schedule Management

The Job Schedule Management page provides job schedule information including the stages of the job as well as the tasks within each stage. This information can be displayed three different ways: Graphical (default), Advanced and Stage. A Job Admin can click the Add Pause Task link to pause any job for a short duration.

 

To change jobs:

Click the job name link, then select a new job name from the Job Actions page.

 

To change predecessors and sequencing of tasks (graphical view):

  1. Next to the Task name, change the value in the Predecessors and Seq fields as needed.

  2. Scroll down and click the Schedule Change Reason field and make the appropriate selection.

  3. If needed, click the Schedule Change Supplier field and make the appropriate selection

  4. Type any relevant notes in the Explanation field.

  5. Click Update Job Schedule.

 

To change predecessors, sequence, lead time, duration and offset (advanced view):

  1. Click the Advanced View link.

  2. Find the desired task, and change the values in the columns as needed.

  3. Scroll down and click the Schedule Change Reason field and make the appropriate selection.

  4. If needed, click the Schedule Change Supplier field and make the appropriate selection

  5. Type any relevant notes in the Explanation field.

  6. Click Update Job Schedule.
