The Task Update: Task Name page lets you change task names for multiple
tasks within the template. Use the Stage
filter to view one or all stages.
To change the task
name for one or more tasks:
In the Task Name column,
type in a new name for the task in the text box provided. Click
the Apply to Jobs check
box to apply the changes to active jobs created from the template.
Click Update
Template.
If you selected the Apply to Jobs
check box a popup window will appear to guide you through the process
of applying the changes to active jobs. Choose whether to apply to All
Active and Hold Jobs or Select Jobs from a list. The updates to task names
will be applied to the jobs you have chosen. Changes will be applied to
tasks that are in Scheduled status. For integrated jobs, the task name
will be re-formatted to include the PO number, contract type, and supplier
