Review and Apply Template Changes to Jobs (Step 3)

The Apply Template Changes Wizard takes users through the process of selecting a change(s) to the template and applying the change(s) to jobs with a status of Active or Hold.

Step 3 of the wizard allows users to review the changes they are about to make. The Apply These Changes... section on the left side of the page contains the template changes that will be applied. The ...To These Jobs section on the right lists the jobs that will be affected.

The View in Excel link opens MS Excel with the two sections of data from the page. This allows users to save the change information for future reference.

Step 1 - Select which change(s) to apply to eligible jobs.

Step 2 - Apply the template changes to all jobs or only selected jobs.

 

To apply template changes to jobs:

  1. Scroll through the Apply These Changes section to review the change(s) that will be applied.

  2. Scroll through the To These Jobs section to review the jobs that will be affected by the change(s).

  3. Click the View in Excel link to view and save the two sections of data in an Excel worksheet.

  4. Once you have reviewed the changes and jobs, click the Apply Changes button. BuildPro confirms the changes have been made by displaying the message ”Template Changes Have Been Applied” in red text at the top of the page.

  5. Or, click the Back to Jobs button to change the job selection.

  6. Or, click the Cancel button to close the wizard and return to the Template Actions page.
