Failed Fax List

The Failed Fax List report is an Activity report that shows a list of attempts to send a fax to a supplier regarding a specific task. This report defaults to showing the list for active jobs. You can change the Job Status field to see the Failed Fax List for cancelled or completed jobs in the upper right corner of the page. To view failed delivery receipt notifications, filter the report by the Complete task status.

 

To generate the Failed Fax List:

  1. Click the Job User box, and select the appropriate user or all users.

  2. Click the Job field and select the appropriate job or all jobs.

  3. If needed, click the Supplier field and select the appropriate supplier or all suppliers.

  4. Click the Task Status field and select the status of the tasks that are to appear in the list.

Failed delivery receipt notifications are listed when the report is filtered by the Complete task status.

 

  1. In the Last Attempt From and To fields, enter the date range for when you want to find failed faxes.

  2. Click Show Faxes.

  3. Click the appropriate task name link to see the Failed Fax Detail information.

 

 

Where does that come from?

Below is a list of information in the Failed Fax List and where the information comes from.

Report Filters

Job User Filter -  If needed, click the Job User field and choose the name of a user in your organization for whom you want to see a list of their failed faxes.

Job Filter - If needed, click the Job field and choose the job name that you want to appear on this report.

Supplier Filter - If needed, click the Supplier field and choose the appropriate supplier name. If you do not make a selection, the report will show all suppliers who did not receive their faxes.

Task Status Filter - Click the Task Status field and choose the status of the tasks that you want to see in this report.

Last Attempt From and To - Use these text fields to enter a date range to find failed faxes. Then, click the Show Faxes button.

Job Status - Choose a job status to filter the jobs by that status (active, cancelled, complete, hold, inventory)

Report Columns

Job - Name of Job which comes from the Job Detail Summary page, Job Name field.  Click on the column heading to sort the list by Job Name.

Task Name - Name of Task which comes from the Job Task Detail page, Task field. Click on the task name to see detail about the failed fax.  Click on the Task Name column heading to sort the list by Task Name.

Supplier - Name of the supplier associated to the task. Click on the Supplier column heading to sort the list by Supplier Name.

Fax Number - Fax number that failed or received error. Click on the Fax Number column heading to sort the list by Fax Number.

Subject - Shows subdivision, job name, task name, and BuildPro order number associated to the failed fax. Click on the Subject column heading to sort the list by Subject.

1st Attempt - Date and time of first fax delivery attempt. Click on the column heading to sort by 1st Attempt.

Last Attempt - Date and time of last fax delivery attempt. Click on the column heading to sort by Last Attempt.

Error Message - Message why fax failed or was in error. Click on the column heading to sort by Error Message.
