Hold/Pause Analysis

The Hold/Pause Analysis report shows the pause/hold history for a job. You can filter the information you see on the report or you can generate a report for all phases within all of your subdivisions.

 

To generate the report:

  1. Choose the appropriate Subdivision, Reason and Job Status for your report.

  2. Click Show Report.

 

Where does that come from?

Below is a list of information in the Hold/Pause Analysis Report and where the information comes from.

Report Filters

Subdivision - Lists all subdivisions for the org. Defaults to Select Subdivision so a subdivision must be picked.

Reason - Lists all pause/hold reasons. Defaults to show all jobs regardless of reason.

Job Status - Lists all job statuses. Defaults to show jobs on Hold which show only jobs that are currently on hold. Can filter to see all jobs which will show jobs that were once on hold plus jobs currently on hold.

Report Columns

Job - Name of job which can be found on the Job Detail Summary page in the Job Name field.

Job Start Date - BuildPro Start Date which can be found on the Job Detail Summary page in the Start Date field. This date is not necessarily the start date of the first task on the job.

Min Baseline Start/Duration - This is the minimum baseline start date for the job.

Max Adjusted End/Duration - This is the maximum adjusted end date for the job.

Projected End Date - This is the promised end date which can be found on the Job Detail Summary page in the Promised End Date field.

Days Off - Difference in days between the maximum baseline end date and maximum adjusted end date for the job. A positive number means the job is ahead of schedule while a negative number represents a job behind schedule.

Hold Start Date - This is the date the job is placed on hold which comes from the Job Admin-Hold Jobs screen in the Hold Start Date field.

Re-Activate Date - This is the date the job goes off hold and back to active status which comes from the Job Admin-Hold Jobs screen in the Re-Activate Date field.    

Hold Duration - This is the amount of days the job is placed on hold which is the number of days between the Hold Start Date & Re-Activate Date.

Baseline Re-Calc - This will either say yes or no; indicates if the user wants to re-calc the job’s baseline after the job is taken off hold which comes from the Job Admin-Hold Jobs screen, Re-Init Baseline check box.

Reason - This is the reason why the job is placed on hold which comes from the Job Admin-Hold Jobs screen in the Hold Reason field.

Notes - Contains a View hyperlink which when clicked takes the user to another page to show notes about the job.  This job notes page is the same as the Job Management-Job Notes List page which can be found under the Field Actions tab, Job Notes link.  Any job notes added on this page will reflect on the report via the View link.
