Plant Management Exception

The Plant Management Exception Report allows users to view late tasks that caused a negative shift in the job schedule. A task only appears on the report the following criteria is met:

 

 

To generate the report:

  1. Choose the Division from the drop-down filter. The page refreshes and populates the other filters with the defaults.

  2. Choose from the other filters.

  3. Click the Generate Report button.

 

Where does that come from?

Below is a list of information in the Plant Management Exception Report and where the information comes from.

Report Filters

Division - Defaults to Division user logs in at; if user logs in at top level, the user must select a Division

Community - Defaults to ’All Communities’ and shows only active communities that belong to the selected Division

Homesite - Defaults to ’All Homes’ and refresh and shows only active jobs that belong to the selected Community; if all Communities are picked, shows all jobs

Construction Manager - This is the BuildPro Job Primary.  Defaults to ’All’ and shows only job primaries tied to the selected job; if all jobs are picked, shows all primaries

Trade Partner - Defaults to ’All’

Max Rows - Defaults to 100; contains choices of ’All’, 100, 50, and 25; if there are more rows to display than the max rows picked, a message at the bottom of the report says, "Please increase your max rows value to view more tasks."

Days Late - Defaults to blank; numeric search field with a 3 character limit that tells the report to pull back tasks that are that many days late or greater; if Days Late = 5, pulls back tasks that are 5 days late or more

Critical Path Tasks Only - Defaults with no check; when flagged, tells the report to pull back only critical path tasks; critical path tasks are identified on the JME page with a *.

Report Columns

Community - For the task being reported on, this is the community name it is assigned to; does not repeat the community name if more than one job in the community is on the report

Homesite - For the task being reported on, this is the home (job name) it is assigned to; does not repeat the job name if more than one task appears for the same job on the report

Construction Manager - This is the primary job user or the person responsible for the job that is linked to the task being reported on

Task Name - This is the name of the task being reported on

Task Status - This is the status of the task on the report; only includes scheduled and in progress tasks (denoted in the legend as S and IP)

Trade Partner - This is the name of the vendor (supplier) tied to the task being reported on

Task Days Late - How many days late the task is; days late is determined by the Current Date &endash; (Adjusted Start Date + Baseline Duration)

Job Late This Task - This is the number of days the task pushed out the schedule (the net effect)

Job Late Total - This is the total number of days the job is late; this is determined by comparing the job’s max adjusted end date to the job’s promised end date

Job Remain Days - This is determined by subtracting the job's max Adjusted End Date (Max Adjusted End Date &endash; Promised End Date) from the Promised End Date. The report looks at the Saturday/Sunday indicator on the job and the Org’s assigned holidays.

Job % Comp - This is the percentage of the job that is complete which can be found in the top right corner of the Job Actions page. Uses the same calculation that is used to determine the % complete on this page.

Reason Code - This is the schedule change reason the user chose when he or she made a change to the job schedule.
