Reports

Superintendent Productivity v2

There are two productivity reports available for you to track the jobs assigned to a specific superintendent: Job Superintendent Productivity v2 and Superintendent Productivity by Job v2. The Job Superintendent Productivity v2 report tells you the percentage of production for each job by project and the Job Superintendent Productivity by Job report will show you the start date, duration, adjusted duration, the number of days off schedule and the percentage of production for each job assigned to a specific superintendent.

It is important to note that this report contains the functionality to use JBST/JBFN milestones.  So, if the module for JBST/JBFN milestones is on for the company using this report, the report will look specifically for JBST & JBFN defined milestone tasks instead of using the maximum baseline end & adjusted end dates in the schedule.

*If your company has this module on but has not yet defined all the milestone tasks, defined and undefined tasks will appear on the report. Milestone-defined tasks will have an asterisk * next to them.

To generate the Job Superintendent Productivity v2 report:

  1. Select the Job Status from the drop-down filter.

  2. Select Yes or No from the Show Pause Days drop-down filter.

  3. Click Generate Report.

Where does that come from?

Below is a list of information in the Job Superintendent Productivity v2 report and where the information comes from.

Report Filters

Job Status - List of all job statuses. Defaults to Active jobs.

Show Pause Days - Defaults to Yes. When Show Pause Days = Yes this will display Pause Days and Net Days columns on the report. When Show Pause Days = No these columns will not display.

Report Columns

Rank - Lists rank of each job super in order (from highest to lowest) based off of each job super’s average production percentage for their jobs.

Job Super - Lists the name of the superintendent or construction manager on the job.

# of Jobs - Total number of jobs for job super for a particular subdivision (project).

Project - Subdivision name. If a job super is assigned a job in a particular subdivision this subdivision will show for the job super.

Days Ahead/Behind - Difference in days between the Maximum Baseline End & Adjusted End dates for each job.  A positive number represents jobs ahead of schedule; a negative number represents jobs behind schedule.

Avg Days Ahead/Behind - Number of days off divided by number of jobs for the subdivision.

Pause Days - Dependent on the Show Pause Days filter.  If set to Yes this column will display on the report.  Pause Days is the total number of pause days combined for the number of jobs listed for that subdivision (project).

Net Days - Dependent on the Show Pause Days filter.  If set to Yes this column will display on the report.  Net Days = Value in Days Ahead/Behind column + value in Pause Days column.  When Net Days are shown, this should change the standard Production % calculation to be Base Duration / (Adjusted Duration - Pause Days).

Production % - This is the production percentage for each project which is calculated by taking each job’s total baseline duration days and dividing by the total adjusted duration days.

Total Jobs - Total number of jobs assigned to the job super.

Avg Production - This is the average production percentage for each job super which is calculated by adding up each project’s production percentage and dividing this number by the total number of jobs for the job super.

Grand Total Jobs - Total number of jobs for all job supers combined.

Total Avg Production - This is all job supers’ average production percentage combined which is calculated by adding up each job super’s individual average production percentage and dividing this number by the total number of job supers.
