Compare Task Attributes by Template
The Compare Task Attributes by Template report allows users to compare task attributes across templates in an organization.
To generate the report:
The Task Attribute filter defaults to All. To choose specific attributes, click the Task Attribute multi-select button . The multi-select pop-up window opens.
Click the check box next to each Task Attribute with which you want to filter the report. Remember to click the All check box to de-select it.
Click the OK button in the bottom of the window. The pop-up window closes and returns to the main report.
In the Search By drop-down list, choose to search by Cost Code or Task Name. Defaults to Cost Code.
Choose a cost code or task name from the Cost Code/Task Name drop-down list. This list populates based on the selection made in the Search By filter.
Choose from the other filters. (Optional)
Click the Generate Report button.

Template Status - Changing the template status will determine what templates to look at when comparing tasks. The report will only look at templates with the selected template status. Defaults to Active.
Organization - Contains a list of all orgs from the user’s org down. The filter defaults to the organization at which the user is assigned.
Search By - Contain a list of task names found within templates for the selected org. This is a required field and users must select Task Name or Cost Code in order to generate the report. Defaults to Cost Code.
Cost Code/Task Name - Contains a list of cost codes or tasks found within templates for the selected org. This is a required field, and users must select a task name or cost code to generate the report.
Report Columns
Template - Displays the template name. Task attribute detail will be grouped by template.
Task Type - Displays the task type for all tasks found in the report.
Supplier - Displays the supplier name associated to each task in the report.
Budget - Displays the budget amount for tasks found in the report.
Industry - Displays the industry each task belongs to in the report.
Acct Code - Displays the cost code assigned to each task found in the report.
Auto Send - Displays the value (Y or N) in the auto send field for each task.
Auto Compl - Displays the value (Y or N) in the auto complete field for each task.
MStone Key - Displays the milestone key associated to each task in the report.
Stage - Displays the stage name for each task on the report.
ID - Displays the task id of the associated task.
Parent Tasks - Displays the task ID and task name of all parent tasks for each task returned to the report. Since a task may have many parents, each parent task is displayed on a separate row.
Child Tasks - Displays the task ID and task name of each child task found for tasks returned to the report. Since a task may have many child tasks, each child task is displayed on a separate row.
Rank - Displays the rank for each task returned to the report. For predecessor schedule tasks, displays ’NA’ in the column (rank is not used for predecessor schedules).
Seq - Displays the sequence for each task on the report.
Lead Time - Displays the lead time for each task in the report.
Dur - Displays the duration of each task in the report.
Offset - Displays the offset for each task in the report.
Req - Displays the required flag (Y or N) for each task in the report.
