A placeholder is a generic product (example: "microwave")
that may be chosen at a later time by the builder or the buyer. You can
add it to a task and updated at a later time. A placeholder item may have
several choices attached to it (example: "Amana", "JennAir",
or "GE"). The Placeholder Product Detail page shows all placeholders
in place for a specified job. Use this page to add products to a placeholder.
To update a placeholder
product:
Click any of the links at
the bottom of the page to add products to your placeholder. Click Update
Placeholder Product.
