Vendor Loading is a means of determining the capacity of a vendor and utilizing a comparative process to determine, based on the schedules, when a vendor is over capacity. This feature is a module that is turned on at the company level.
You use the Vendor Loading Group Table to group subdivisions so they are treated as one for the purposes of Vendor Loading. Ideally, you use vendor loading when subdivisions are located in a close enough proximity to allow vendor crews to work in multiple subdivisions, often at the same time. It is important to remember that a Vendor Loading group can have only one subdivision in it. If a subdivision is included in vendor loading, it must be associated to a Vendor Loading group. A subdivision can only belong to one Vendor Loading Group.
To use the Vendor Loading Group Management page:
Click the Org field and choose the organization that has the vendor loading groups you want to manage.
Click Show Vendor Loading Group. The Vendor Loading Groups page opens.
Click the desired Vendor Loading Group Name link to access the Add/Update Groups page.
