Job Task - Summary Tab

The Summary tab shows information about the supplier, the type of task, task start date and the last date the status changed. You may also view any options assigned to the task and any checklist items that should be completed with the task. Options include anything from carpet type to appliances. Checklist items could be inspection items that need to be completed before the task is complete. The Summary tab shows different fields depending on the status of the task.

Reminder:  If any of the fields mentioned in the steps below do not appear on your screen, that means that your organization is not using that feature of BuildPro. For any questions about this feature, contact your BuildPro administrator.

 

To modify information on the Summary tab

In-Progress tasks

  1. Click the Mark the Order Received/Complete checkbox. Or, if this order has exceptions, click Mark Exceptions on this Task/Order.

  2. If task is an EPO and it is not ready to be submitted, click EPO Not Ready.

  3. If necessary, click the appropriate option to update the Checklist Items status.

  4. Click Complete Task.

 

Scheduled tasks

  1. In the Request Date field, you can change the date you need this item delivered, if necessary.

  2. Click the appropriate Back Order Policy option.

  3. Add any relevant notes in the Instructions to Supplier field.

  4. If necessary, click the Schedule Change Reason and Schedule Change Supplier fields and make the appropriate selections.

  5. Click Submit Order.

 

Completed tasks

  1. Click Undo Complete Task to change the status of this task.

 

Skipped tasks

  1. Click Undo Skip Task to change the status of the task to Scheduled.

 

Declined tasks

  • If you want to edit the EPO, click the Edit and Re-Submit for Approval link.

The EPO is displayed for you to edit.

  • If you want to delete this EPO, click Delete Task.

 

Remember, the availability of the information on each tab depends on your user role.
