Job Document Detail

The Job Document Detail page lets you upload a document to a particular job, update document notes or delete a document. The document can be associated to a specific task or the job in general.

Attaching documents is helpful when you need to display a photo of a product you ordered, to further explain an option on a job, or show the supplier something that is an issue with workmanship (documents can be shared with the supplier(s) of a job if the supplier is connected via SupplyPro).

 

To upload an document:

  1. In the Document field, type the complete path where the document resides, or click the Browse button and select the document you want to upload.

  2. Click the Title field and type a name for the document.

  3. If needed, click the Task field and select a task to assign the document to.

  4. Type any Notes regarding this document.

  5. If you want the supplier to be able to see the document, make sure the Viewable by Supplier box is checked.

If you do not  want a supplier to see any documents that you uploaded, remove the checkmark in the Viewable by Supplier field.

 

  1. Click the Upload New Document button.

 

To update notes:

In the Notes field, make any updates as needed, then click the Update Document Notes button.

 

To delete a document:

Click the Delete Document button .
