User Detail -- Adding Users

The User Detail page allows you to add new SupplyPro users provided you have not exceeded the number of user licenses noted on the User Manager page. Once users are created, you can edit user information, assign security roles and accounts, and establish user attributes. Typically, only users assigned a system administrator security role would be able to access the User Manager page or add new users.

To move from field to field when adding information in SupplyPro's entry page forms, use the TAB key. If you use the ENTER key, SupplyPro assumes you have finished filling out the form and tells you about the required fields you neglected to complete.

To add new users:

  1. From the Manager tab, select User Manager and click the Add New User button at the bottom of the page to access the User Detail page.

    All required fields are identified by a red arrow: . If you neglect to fill out all required fields, SupplyPro will not allow you to add the user.

  2. In the User Name field, type a unique user ID, up to 15 characters.

  3. In the First Name and Last Name fields, enter the user's name.

  4. In the Password field, type an initial user password.

  5. Enter phone number and email address in the respective fields.

  6. Choose Saturday Schedule or Sunday Schedule, if applicable.

  7. From the User Status list, choose Active.

  8. From the Security Role list, choose the applicable security role for the user.

  9. In the Address section, enter the user's address if different from the company address.

  10. Choose a Weather Forecast for display on your SupplyPro Home page.

  11. Click the Add User button to save the user information .
