Add Account Detail

To manually add a new builder account to SupplyPro, you need to fill in the required information on the Account Detail page. Required fields are identified by a red arrow .

To manually add new builder accounts:

  1. To access the Account Detail page, select the Account Manager link from the Manager tab to view the Account List and click the Add New Account button at the bottom of the page.

  2. In the Account Name field, type the customer name.

  3. In the Account Number field, type the customer's new account number.

  4. Type the required customer address information, including phone number.

  5. Pay special attention to the following fields:

    Notify Account Via Tells SupplyPro how you want to notify your builder accounts of changes. Select from the following choices: Application Only, Application + Email, + Fax, + Fax + email.

    Fax and EMail Address Type one or the other or both to ensure that the system is able to process electronic notifications.

    E-Account This shows if the builder is setup to electronically transfer funds.

    Supplier Control E-Destination specifies how builder notifications come to the supplier. This field accepts email and fax contacts. If you wish to have both types of contacts or multiple contacts, separate with a semi-colon. To enter a fax number in the E-Destination field, use the following format: 1XXXXXXXXXX@faxmail.com, where XXXXXXXXXX is the fax number.

  6. If you are using SupplyPro's catalog module, the Supplier Control section will include lists for selecting a pricesheet and an exclude list.

  7. In the Assign to User list, select a user name to assign a user to this account. At least one user must be assigned to each account.

  8. Click the Add New Account button to save the account information.

  9. Once the new account is added, you can edit the account at any time by choosing the account name from the Select Account list at the top of the page.
