Sometimes you might receive an order that you can fill, but not in the time frame requested by the builder. You can request a schedule change for the order. You can change the dates and add a note to the builder, and accept the order. The builder will receive an alert on this order from you and you should respond accordingly.
To reschedule an order:
In the Detail section, change the Acknowledged Start Date and the End Date fields to the new dates for this order.
You can use the calendar icons to choose your new dates. If you use the calendars to change the Acknowledged Start Date, the End Date is updated automatically.
Type a message to the builder explaining why you need to change the dates in the Notes to Builder field.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the Accept Order button.
Do not click the Update Order button because this will not change the dates for an order. You must click the Accept Order button located at the bottom of the screen for the change in dates to be accepted.
If the builder accepts the new date, the order stays in the supplier's To Do list. If the builder does not accept the date change, then the supplier receives a change request from the builder for an even different date on the order.
