This page displays the master list of subcontractors. The initial list will be populated from the builder's BuildPro supplier list and the suppliers will show up in the "Suppliers Excluded for Bidding" list. It will then be necessary to "include" the suppliers you want to use for bidding and map theme to Bid Groups (see the Subcontractor Bid Groups page). The list of suppliers and their cost code mapping will then be used to populate the list of subcontractors for a project. A project specific page will then allow the builder to determine what suppliers / subcontractors will be used for the project.

The page contains two sections. The first section lists the "Suppliers Included for Bidding" that will be "Included" for new bidding projects. The second section lists the "Suppliers Excluded for Bidding" from BuildPro that will be "Excluded" for new bidding projects.

To manage project subcontractors:

1. To include subcontractors in the master list of subcontractors, click the Include check box next to each subcontractor you want to include who is under the Excluded Subcontractors section.

2. Click the Include All button at the top of the page to immediately move all Excluded Subcontractors into the Included Subcontractors. There is no way to automatically undo this action.

3. To exclude subcontractors, click the Exclude check box next to each subcontractor you want to exclude who is under the Included Subcontractors section.

4. Click the Exclude All button at the top of the page to immediately move all Included Subcontractors into the Excluded Subcontractors. There is no way to automatically undo this action.

5. Click the Update button in the top right of the page.

Master Subcontractor Columns

• Subcontractor Name - Contains the name of the subcontractor. Clicking on the subcontractor name will display the information from the Supplier Location Detail record in BuildPro.

• Unlocked for Bidding - This column determines whether the supplier has been unlocked for bidding (Y = Yes, N = No). (Unlocked means that the information from BuildPro will flow over to SupplyPro).

• Suppliers who are already using SupplyPro will show Y be default.

• Suppliers who are not using SupplyPro or who are added for bidding purposes will show N.

• In order for a subcontractor to bid, they must be set to Y.

• Only Hyphen Solutions can unlock a supplier.

• Only "unlocked" suppliers can be mapped to Bid Groups at the project level.

• Include/Exclude - This column of check boxes which allows the user to select which subcontractors want to include or exclude from the list of subcontractors. Subcontractors that are "Included" will be available for use on new projects. Subcontractors that are "Excluded" will not be available for selection on new projects.
