Thomas Spann, Jr.

General Manager, Payments

Thomas brings over 15 years of integrated payments and software experience to Hyphen Solutions and is responsible for leading and growing Hyphen’s payments business. Thomas began his career as an Investment Banker with SunTrust Robinson Humphrey. He then joined Radiant Systems, later acquired by NCR Corporation, to lead and grow its payments business across its Hospitality and Retail verticals. Most recently, Thomas was with Blue Star Innovation Partners, Private Equity and Venture Capital Firm, focused on software and payment company acquisitions and integrations. Across Blue Star’s portfolio companies, he was responsible for building and leading payments go-to-market, integrating payments and payment operations. 

Thomas earned his Bachelor’s degree from Morehouse College and his MBA from Emory University, Goizueta Business School. Thomas is an avid drummer and enjoys cycling and competing in triathlons.
