The Inspections tab allows users with the correct security to access one or more of the following tools:
To navigate in Inspections, Hyphen recommends that you do NOT use the Internet Explorer Back button. If you try to use the Back and Forward buttons, this can cause Internet Explorer to display your data incorrectly. Instead, the Inspections tool gives you three main ways to navigate through the program:
Inspections Home Page Links - Click the Inspections tab in BuildPro to open the Inspections home page. The Inspections home page displays action buttons for the different functions of PunchList, Milestone Inspection, and Final Inspection. (Only users with the correct security can view and access each section) Click on an action button to open that section of the tool. To get back to the Inspections home page, click on the Inspections tab from any page in BuildPro.
Breadcrumb Links - Breadcrumbs are links across the top of the page that show the trail of pages you visited to get to the current page. Breadcrumbs can help you keep track of your location in the program, and you can click on one of the links to easily jump back to previous pages. For example, if you go the Inspections home page and click the View PunchList button, the Select Trade page opens. You select from filters, then generate the punchlist, which opens the Generate PunchList page. The breadcrumbs at the top of the page show you your trail through the program: Inspections > Select Trade
Click the Select Trade breadcrumb link to go back to the Select Trade page and change your punchlist filters. Or, click the Inspections breadcrumb link to jump back directly to the Inspections home page.
Left Nav Bar (not in Defect Mgmt.) - Left Nav Bar stands for Left Navigation Bar--it’s the blue bar on the left side of the page. You can see the Left Nav Bar on almost all other pages in BuildPro. Click a link on the Left Nav Bar to jump directly to that page. (The links on the Left Nav Bar change, depending on the section of BuildPro that you are in.)

This inspection process helps ensure conformance to defined building methods and quality standards. Construction managers use this process to review the work of suppliers and to identify defects or non-conformities.
