Generate PunchList

On the PunchList, view the current open defect items. You can send (or re-send) those defects to the supplier. Completed defects are not displayed on this list. To generate the PunchList, you must go through the search wizard.

On the Generate PunchList page:

1. Click on an underlined column header to sort the punchlist by that column.

2. Click the View Printable link in the top right corner of the page. A printable version of the punchlist opens in a new window.

Resubmit Defect Notifications

Each time you create a defect, a notification is automatically sent to the supplier. Critical and Structural Defect Notifications are sent immediately. Standard Defect Notifications are sent to the supplier in a nightly batch process. Occasionally, you may need to resubmit a defect notification if the supplier did not receive it or misplaced it.

From the Generate PunchList page, you can resubmit a defect to a supplier, and the defect notification will be sent immediately to the supplier by email, whether the defect is critical, structural, or standard. The Sent to Trade? column identifies whether the defect notification was already sent to the supplier: Y for Yes, N for No.

To resubmit a defect to the supplier:

1. If you have not generated it, generate the punchlist, starting on the Select Trade page.

2. On the Generate PunchList page, click the Submit to Trade check box next to the defect(s) you want to resubmit.

3. Click the Submit Defect(s) button at the bottom of the page. BuildPro confirms that the defects were submitted (or re-submitted).
