The SWIM page is where you actually perform the inspection. You can answer all of the questions or answer some of the questions, and come back later to finish the inspection. All of your changes will be saved. When you answer a question with an answer that has been deemed a failure value, that inspection item is considered failed. After you click the Update Inspection button, you will be asked to choose a responsible supplier for each failed item. BuildPro will then send an Inspection Notification to the chosen supplier, detailing the failed item and the due date for resolution.

To go back to the list of Due and In Progress inspections on the Periodic Inspection page, click the Periodic Inspection breadcrumb link at the top of the Inspection page.

To perform or continue an inspection:

1. Log into BuildPro, and click the SWIM tab. The Inspections home page opens.

2. Click the Periodic Inspection button under SWIM. The Periodic Inspections page opens, showing all Due and In Progress inspections assigned to you.

3. Click an Inspection link. The Inspection page opens, showing all the questions included in the inspection.

4. Answer each question in the inspection. Each inspection question may have a different question type.

5. For details on each question type, look in the ”Inspection Setup” section on the help page ”Company Inspection Types."

6. Click the Update Inspection button at the bottom of the page to save your changes.

7. If you answer any questions as failed the question may require the user to click the Add Corrective Actions button.

8. When you answer all the questions, the status of your inspection changes from In Progress to Complete.
