Job Management

Job Detail

The Job Detail page lets you view and update information about a job. When a job is complete, change the job status from the Status tab. To select a different job, click the Job Name link at the top of the page, then select another job from the filter.

If any of the fields listed in the Field Descriptions Table do not appear on your screen, that means that your organization is not using that feature of BuildPro. For any questions about this feature, contact your BuildPro administrator

 

Summary Tab

To update Job Detail information:

  1. Change any of the fields as needed, referring to the Field Descriptions Table as needed.

  1. If you changed the Start Date or the Promised End Date, choose one of the three options at the bottom of the screen regarding recalculating the job schedule.

  1. Click the Update Job button.

To change the Start Date and/or recalculate the baseline for a multi-family job, go to the Multi-Family Project Detail page on the Job Admin tab.

 

Status Tab

To change the status of a job:

  1. Click the Status tab.

  2. Choose a different Status from the drop-down list. Refer to the Field Descriptions Table as needed.

Jobs cannot be put on hold or taken off hold (re-activated) on this page, unless the "Hold Jobs" module is turned on. Go to the Hold Jobs page on the Job Admin tab to manage hold jobs.

 

  1. Add any relevant notes in the Notes field.

  2. Click the Update Job button.

Lot Information Tab

To update lot information:

  1. Click the Lot Information tab.

  2. Change any of the fields, referring to the Field Descriptions Table as needed.

  3. Click the Update Job button.
