Process Suggested Changes

When a supplier sends a suggested correction to a lien document, an alert is created in BuildPro for a suggested doc change. When BuildPro receives a suggested doc change, the document appears on the Process Suggested Changes page. The number of suggested doc changes appears on the Lien Docs Home page under the Alert column.

 

To view suggested document changes:

  1. Choose a Job and Supplier from the drop-down lists (Optional). You may also filter the list by Check Number.

  2. Click the Show Docs button. The list of lien documents with suggested changes appears.

  3. Click on the Note link to view the suggested doc change. The Notes pop-up window opens. The Notes pop-up window shows all notes entered for this lien document, by the builder and supplier.

  4. Click on the magnifying glass under the View column to view the lien document and identify any changes needed. The lien document PDF opens in a separate window.

The user name of the supplier who electronically signed the document and the date signed appear in the bottom left of the lien document.

  1. Click on the Reply link next to the lien document. The Correction Notice pop-up window opens. Enter a response in the text box. Click the Send Correction Notice button. The Correction Notice is sent to SupplyPro.

  2. If a lien document does require changes, go to the Processing Recurring Docs page to create a new lien document. Sign and transmit the corrected document to BuildPro. If the lien document has been transmitted to the supplier/trade and has not been signed, you may delete it by going to the View Transmitted Docs page.

  3. Click the Clear Alert check box next to the lien document that you corrected. Click the Clear Alert for Selected Docs button. The alert clears from the page.
