This page allows you to add a new task directly without using the wizard.
To add a new task:
In the Task Name field, type the name of the task as you want
it to appear on the schedule.
In the Task Description field,
type an additional description for this task.
Click the Task Type field
and make the appropriate selection.
Click the Acct Code field
and make the appropriate selection.
Click the Supplier
field and choose the supplier for this task.

If you do not know who
the supplier is, you can select "Self-Supplied" and all email
and fax communications will be sent to you. |
Click the Supplier
Industry field and choose the
industry for this supplier.
In the Budget Amount
field, type the dollar amount budgeted for this task.

This is a required field,
but you can input "0" if you do not have a budget amount for
this field. |
Click the Catalog
Type field and choose the appropriate
catalog.
Click the Milestone Task box
if you are integrating your schedule with another system that uses milestones.
In the Milestone Key field,
type the task number for which this milestone task corresponds, if you
are integrating your schedule with another system that uses milestones.
Click the Stage field
and make the appropriate selection.
In the Lead Time field,
type the amount of days before the start of a task that you must place
the order with the supplier.
In the Duration field,
type the number of days it will take to complete the task.
In the Rank field
type the appropriate rank for this task.
If necessary, in the Sequence
field, type the order in which you want this task to appear.

If necessary,
in the Offset field,
type the number of days forward or backward for when this task could start.
Click the Quote Enabled check
box if you are using the BuildPro Request for this task.
In the Supplier Instructions field,
type any instructions to be transmitted to the supplier.
Click the Add New Task button.
Click the Template name
link to return to the Template
Actions page.
