Template Management
Inspection Points
Before you assign inspections a user, you need to assign inspection sheets to a template. All the jobs created from this template will show the required inspections. When the user goes to perform milestone inspections, the user will see a list of required inspections, based on the jobs to which the user is assigned.
When you assign an inspection sheet to a template task, you are indicating that the assigned milestone inspector will perform that inspection when the task is marked complete. For example, the last task in the Framing stage is ”r;Spray for Mold.” So, you would assign the Framing inspection sheet to the ”r;Spray for Mold” task. When the construction manager completes that task, the inspection assigned to the task becomes due.
To assign inspection sheets to template tasks:
On the Template Actions page, click on the Milestone Inspections link at the bottom of the page. The Inspection Points page opens, listing the tasks in the template.
Next to each task that requires a milestone inspection, choose an Inspection Sheet from the drop-down list.
Use the table scroll bar to scroll through the tasks, which are grouped by stage in order of stage sequence.
Click the Update Inspection Point button. All tasks with a chosen inspection sheet will have that inspection assigned to them.
