Job Duration Analysis

The Job Duration Analysis report displays the start date for the job, the baseline end date, and adjusted end date, original duration of the job and difference between the baseline and adjusted. Pause/hold days can also be shown and factored in to this report.

 

The Job Duration Analysis report is in three sections:

  • Job Duration Analysis - Select Subdivision Phase: shows a list of subdivisions and the phases in each. Click a phase number link to select it and open its Job Duration Analysis page.

  • Job Duration Analysis -  provides an overview of the jobs within a specific subdivision phase.

  • Job Duration Analysis - Schedule Change Reason: details schedule changes made to a specific job, by task.

 

To generate the report:

  1. Click the appropriate Phase link.

  2. Set the filters for Job Status and Show Pause/Hold Days

  3. Click Generate Report.

     

Where does that come from?

Below is a list of information in the Job Duration Analysis Report and where the information comes from.

Report Filters

Subdivision - Subdivision selected from the previous page.

Phase - Displays the name of the phase selected on the prior page.

Job Status - Allows the user to filter the report by job status.

Show Pause/Hold Days - By selecting Yes in the drop down box, two additional columns are displayed on the report: Pause/Hold Days and Net Days. Selecting No will hide these columns from the report.

Report Columns

Job - Job name. Same as the job name displayed on the Jobs home tab. This link will take the use to another page to view schedule changes and the schedule change reasons.

Start Date - Start date of the job from the job detail page. This may not necessarily be the start date of the first task in the schedule.

Baseline End/Duration - The maximum baseline end date of any task in the schedule. Duration is calculated by the difference between the Start Date and the Baseline End date.

Adj End/Duration - The maximum adjusted end date of any task in the schedule. Duration is calculated by the difference between the Start Date and the Adjusted End.

Days Off - The difference between the Duration of the Baseline column and the Duration of the Adj column.

Pause/Hold Days - Number of total days the job was placed on hold or paused.

Net Days - Number of Days Off plus Pause/Hold Days.

Status - The Status column shows the status of the job. (Active, Complete, Canceled, etc)
