Security Roles determine the level of access a user is assigned and control which application areas a user is allowed access in SupplyPro. Each SupplyPro user must be assigned to at least one security role.
The System Administrator is the highest security role available, granted view, add, change and delete privileges to all application areas. Every supplier must have at least one system administrator. In SupplyPro, the system administrator is allowed to define security roles that control user access to specific system areas. Typically only users with system administrator access are allowed access to the Security Roles page to manage the following tasks:
Review and edit security roles for users accessing your company’s account
Delete security roles
Add security roles
Use security roles to limit user access to various SupplyPro application pages or functions.
Certain functional attributes cannot be assigned to certain application areas. For example, there is no Delete attribute associated with the Home tab because there is no data or records to delete on the page.
The System Administrator is the only user that may add, change, or delete security roles. The System Administrator role itself may only be modified by Hyphen Solutions, Ltd.
