Add Role Detail

The Role Detail page allows you to add a new security role to your system. Required fields are identified by a red arrow .

The System Administrator is the only user that may add, change or delete security roles. The System Administrator role itself may only be modified by Hyphen Solutions, Ltd.

To add security roles to the system:

  1. From the Manager tab, select the Security Roles link.

  2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the Add New Security Role button.

  3. In the Select Role list, choose Add a New Role.

    If you wish to edit another security role from this page, choose the applicable role name from the Select Role list.

  4. In the Role Name field, type the new role name.

  5. Select the security attributes you wish to assign to the security role in each area of SupplyPro, including View, Add, Change, or Delete access as required. For example, if you want the security role to view the SupplyPro Home tab, select the View check box next to Home.

  6. Click the Add New Security Role button when you are finished assigning attributes.
