Your Profile

The Your Profile page allows you to view and change information about yourself. You can also set how you want your To Do List to appear as well as your daily e-mails. The Your Profile page has a section for Box Scheduling that allows to set your preferences, like choosing whether you see the Box Schedule or Task View as your Default Page Layout. Turn on the Navigation Buttons to have quick access at the top of every BuildPro page to the most common BuildPro functionalities.

To update your profile:

  1. Change any field as needed. See the section below for more detail.

  2. Click the Update Profile button.

 

If you change your password, your MUST type your password again in the Confirm Password field for the change to be effective.

Depending on your company's settings, you may not be able to use previous passwords. Passwords must be at least 4 characters; your company may have chosen a setting to require longer passwords.

 

Your Profile page is divided into two sections: Profile Information and User Preferences. Listed below are descriptions for each field on the Your Profile page, by section.

 

Profile Information

Name: Your first and last name.

Password: Your password (appears as asterisks for security reasons).

Confirm Password: This is your password (appears as asterisks for security reasons). If you change your password, you must retype it in this field for it to be accepted.

Organization: The name of the organization you are associated with.

Phone: Your phone number.

Fax: Your fax number.

Email Address: Your email address.

Saturday Schedule: Click the box if you want the schedule to count Saturday as a working day. This setting is only used when adding a new job in a non integrated BuildPro company. When adding the job, these settings will be copied over.

Sunday Schedule: Click the box if you want the schedule to count Sunday as a working day. This setting is only used when adding a new job in a non integrated BuildPro company. When adding the job, these settings will be copied over.

Address: Your street address.

City: Your city.

State: Your state.

Postal Code: Your ZIP code.

User Preferences

Email

  • Email PO Submit: Check this box if you want to be CC'd by email when PO’s are submitted.

  • Email PO Received: Check this box if you want to be CC'd by email when PO’s are received or marked complete.

  • Email EPO Ready: Check this box if you want to be CC'd by email when EPO’s are marked ready for the back office to process.

  • Email Tasks Daily: Check this box if you want to receive your To Do List daily by email.

  • Email EPO Level Notice: This check box only appears if your company is using the Multiple EPO Approval Levels module (module# 235). Check this box if you want to be notified when someone from your level must approve an EPO.

  • Email EPO Level Batch Notice: This check box only appears if your company is using the Multiple EPO Approval Levels module (module# 235). Check this box to receive a nightly batch email of all EPOs that have not been approved.

  • Email EPO Rejection Notice: This check box only appears if your company is using the Multiple EPO Approval Levels module (module# 235). Check this box to be notified by email if an EPO you created has been rejected.

  • Email EPO Approval Notice: This check box only appears if your company is using the Multiple EPO Approval Levels module (module# 235). Check this box to be notified by email if an EPO you created has been approved.

To Do List (These settings determine what filters will be selected by default when you access the To Do List)

    • Alerts - If selected will display all alerts for the tasks displayed on the To Do List.

    • To Order on To Do List Date - If selected will display all tasks where the Lead Date is today’s date or date of the To Do List date selected.

    • To Order By To Do List Date (Late) - If selected will display all tasks where the To Do List date is after the Lead Date. Displays (Late) after the task name for tasks that meet this criteria.

    • In Progress (In Lead Period) - If selected will display all tasks that have a task status of In Progress and the To Do List date is prior to the Start Date of the task.

    • In Progress (Actually Started) - If selected will display all tasks that have a task status of In Progress and the To Do List date is equal to or after the Start Date of the task.

    • To Complete on To Do List Date - If selected will display all In Progress tasks where the End Date of the task is equal to the date of the To Do List.

    • To Complete By To Do List Date (Late) - If selected will display all tasks where the To Do List date is after the End Date of the task. Displays (Late) after the task name for tasks that meet this criteria.

    • Completed on To Do List Date - If selected will display all tasks where the task status is complete and the End Date of the task is equal to the To Do List date.

    • Inspections Due - If selected will display all tasks that have an inspection due. Click on the pencil icon to open the inspection on the InspectPro tab. This option only appears if the Inspections - Milestone module is on and the user has an Inspections role.

    • Tasks with Exceptions - If selected will display all In Progress and Complete tasks that have been marked with exceptions.

    • Max Rows Displayed - Choose the maximum number of rows you want to view on the To Do List: 25, 50, 100, 150, 200, 300, 400, or 500. You can also change this on the To Do List.

    • Default Task Sort - Choose whether to sort the tasks on the To Do List by Lead Date or Start Date. On the To Do List, click the Lead Date or Start Date column name to sort by that column in ascending order. Click the same link again to sort by that column in descending order.

Box Schedule (This section only appears if the Box Scheduling module is turned on)

  • Default Column Sort on Job List: Choose which column to use as the primary sort order for the Job List. Choose from Job Name, Lot, Sequence, or Group.

  • Default Task Sort on Box Schedule: Choose which column to use as the primary sort order for the Box Schedule page. Choose from Lead Date, Start Date, or Task Sequence.

  • Default Column Sort on Task View: Choose which column to use as the primary sort order for the Task View page of Box Scheduling. Choose from Sequence, Job Name, Lot/Block, Task Name, Supplier, Lead Date, Start Date, or End Date.

  • Default Page Layout: Choose which layout to default to when you open Box Scheduling. Choose Box Schedule or Task View. You can also switch between the two layouts in Box Scheduling.

  • Default Subdiv/Phase: Choose which subdivision/phase you want Box Scheduling to show when it initially opens.

  • Default Reschedule Tasks: Choose whether to have the View Possible Reschedules check box default to checked or unchecked. You can also check or uncheck the box on the Box Scheduling page.

  • Box Schedule Max Rows - Choose the default number of rows to be displayed on the Box Schedule page.

  • Task View Max Rows - Choose the default number of rows to be displayed on the Task View page.

Alerts

  • Default Max Rows: Choose the default number of max rows that you want the Alerts page to display. Choose from 25, 50, 100, 150, 200, or 500. You can also change the Max Rows on the Alerts page.

JME

  • Default Task Sort: The user can choose from one of three ways to sort JME: Lead Date, Start Date, or Task Sequence. On the JME page itself, click on a hyperlinked column heading to sort the page by that column.

Navigation Buttons

Turning any or all of these buttons on will make them appear on every single BuildPro page. Click on a button to go directly to that page in BuildPro. You need to choose a job before you click on the Manage Job (JME) or Reschedule Job buttons. Otherwise, those buttons will first take you to the Job List page to choose a job.

  • Turn on Standard Navigation Buttons: Check this box to show the four standard navigation buttons. These are :Manage Alerts, Manage To Do List, and Manage Job (JME).

  • Turn on Multi-Family Navigation: Check this box to show the Multi-Family JME button. (This option only appears if the Multi-Family module is turned on.) Clicking this button will take you to the Multi-Family JME page.

  • Turn on Box Scheduling Navigation: Check this box to show the Manage Multiple Jobs (Box Scheduling) button. (This option only appears if the Box Scheduling module is turned on.)

Current Organization: This field lists the current organization for this user. This information will only appear if the BuildPro company is using the Multiple Org Users functionality.
