Start or Complete Tasks
Print the Task View page
To view tasks on the Task View page:
Click on the Jobs tab.
In the Left Nav Bar, click Box Scheduling. The Box Schedule page or Task View page will open, depending on the default view in Your Profile.
Click the Switch to link in the top left corner to switch to Task View or Box Schedule.
Choose a Subdivision/Phase to view from the drop-down list. (Required)
Choose a Phase Group from the drop-down list. (Required)
Choose a Task Category Group from the drop-down list. (Required)
Choose any of the other filters you want to use.
Click the Show Tasks button. The Task View page displays the task list for each job in your phase group.
The Show Tasks button is hidden until the user selects all the required filters (Subdivision/Phase, Phase Group, and Task Category Group). When the user changes any of the required filters, the Show Tasks button hides until all the required filters have been selected.
After you click the Show Tasks button, the filters are automatically hidden so you can view more of the page without scrolling. To show the filters, click the Show Filters button in the top right of the page. Click the Hide Filters button next to the Show Tasks button to hide the filters.
*If you've made changes, and you try leave the page before you click the Update Tasks button, a Warning Message will pop up. Click OK to leave the page. Or, click Cancel to stay on the page. Then, click the Update Tasks button.
To start or complete a task on the Task View page:
Click the Jobs Tab.
Click Box Scheduling on the Left Nav Bar. The Task View or Box Schedule page opens, depending on the default view in Your Profile.
Click the Switch to link in the top left corner to switch to Box Schedule or Task View.
Choose a Phase Group. Choose from of any of the other filters, as well.
Click Show Tasks. Your Task List will open.
The Task View page initially sorts by the column you choose in the Default Column Sort on Task View section of the Your Profile page.
Under the Start or Comp column, check the box next to the task(s) you want to start or complete.
If you check the box at the top of the Start or Comp columns, it will select all of the tasks on the page.
Edit the Start or End date of the task(s).
Choose a Schedule Change Reason from the drop-down list under the Box Schedule, if necessary.
Choose a Schedule Change Supplier from the drop-down list under the Schedule Change Reason, if necessary. (This will only appear if the Job Schedule Change Supplier module is turned on.)
Click the Show Explanation button under the Schedule Change Supplier to enter a Schedule Change Explanation, if necessary.
Click the Update Tasks button. Your schedule has been updated.
If the task is an MPO, NTE EPO, or has checklist items, the MPO/Checklist Items page opens. You must perform the actions on this page before you can complete the task.
*Different printers have different ways of adjusting the settings. The following instructions are only a guideline for changing the printer settings. Your printer may have different print options.
To print the Task View page:
Click the View Printable link in the top right corner of the Task View page. A printable version of the Task View opens in a separate window.
Click File, Print on the menu bar. The Print dialog box opens.
Open the Printer Settings or Preferences.
Change the Orientation to Landscape.
Change the Paper Size to Legal (8.5 x14), if you have legal size paper.
Change the Print Size to 90% or Shrink to Fit.
Click OK to close the Printer Settings or Preferences.
Click the Print button to print the Task View.
