Knowledge Base (K.B.) Division

The Knowledge Base (K.B.) is the database that holds all the defect information that the construction manager can use to enter a defect. The user uses the K.B. Division screens to manage the K.B. Division.

The K.B. Division page is the home page for managing the K.B. items for division users. Corporate users have a similar screen with the same buttons but they link to the corporate version of the K. B. items. Users are presented the appropriate screen based on their level in the organization. Users (at either level) must also have a role that allows them to manage K.B. items.

Although each division may contain different defect information, the Corporate K.B. contains all defect information. A corporate user can access the Corporate and Division K.B., while the division user can only access the Division K.B.
